Kasol also famous as one of the hippie destinations in the world is a small village in the Parvati range of Himalayas. It is also called as the ‘Stoners Paradise”. A weekend trip from Delhi is the best option to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy yourself in this place.

Modes of transport


Bus: You can easily get a bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Kasol. The bus journey would take around 14 hours for you to reach Kasol. The prices of the bus tickets range according to the quality of the bus. It generally starts from Rs 500 and goes on increasing as per the bus and the services provided.

Although there is no direct bus service from Delhi to Kasol, you need to get down at Bhunter and then you can take a local bus which will take you to Kasol.

Train: Take a train from Delhi to Bhunter. Get down at the Bhunter railway station and from there take a local bus ride or hire a taxi to Kasol.

By Air: Fly from Delhi airport to either Kullu or to Dharamsala and from there take the local bus to reach Kasol.

Places to stay

When you reach Kasol you have plenty of places for lodging. There are various motels to stay, the prices of which range from Rs 500 to Rs 1500.



 Food Joints:

There are various food joints to enjoy your daily meals. The Bhoj café, Evergreen café, Maria café are some of the recommend places to try out the delicacies of this area. If you like to try out munchies there then head to German Bakery. Also, you could try some of the Israeli cuisines here.

1. Parvati River

Have a morning walk around the River and get into the serene atmosphere to the place.



2. Malana and Tosh

Head to Malana and Tosh which are very near from Kasol and are a must visit on your weekend trip from Delhi to Kasol.



3. Manikaran Sahib

Visit this Gurudwara to feel the spirituality of the land. Located among the hills and aid the rivers, this place offers ultimate peace of mind to all the travellers.


Adventure sports

If you are an adventure freak then try the trek to Kheer Ganga for a mesmerising experience. The beauty of this trek is breathtaking. The lush green gardens, the clear blue sky and the crystal clear water of the river are worth seeing.




It is one of the main things to be done on a trip. Head to the local market and you could get a variety of things from small pendants to winter wear, everything is available here at very low prices.
